Just noticed that Cusquena are using my Rub On typeface that I designed back in 1996.
Whilst browsing through the magazines in East-Midlands airport recently I noticed my Mechanic Gothic typeface is the masthead for Horse & Hound magazine. This is 2nd magazine masthead it has been used on now as I was on the original Loaded Fashion magazine masthead too. My Aggregate typeface is the masthead for Jockey Slut magazine and has been used in various IPC magazine titles over the years like TV Hits and Smash Hits too.

Introducing ‘Rivoluzione’ a new typeface by Darren Scott. Inspired by recent trips to both Cuba and to the Amalfi Coast in Italy. I wanted a typeface that could reflected the instant stencil typography found on walls in politically ouspoken countries. I tried to capture that sense of urgency that comes with stencil graffiti and sloganeering in public spaces. It is a caps font with lots of alternate characters to create variation.
As with Como this is just being finished of as we speak. See what you think!
This is Como, a new typeface by me (Darren Scott). It was inspired by a trip last year to Milan where we spent some time at Lake Como. I took some great shots of hand drawn signs on the fernicular railway, (Yeh I know, I am at beautiful Lake Como and I am taking pictures of type, it’s all very sad). Anyway this was the nearly finished typeface! Just putting the final touches to the kerning and spacing and she is ready to retail!
