YOU ARE, WHAT YOU’RE SEEN TO BE. So what does YOUR branding say about you, and is it appropriate? YOU CANNOT NOT COMMUNICATE. The value of good appropriate branding is highlighted below. KEY POINTS First impressions count, potential customers WILL judge your company on the image you portray. GOOD DESIGN can help a one-man band look like an international corporation and equally vice versa. BAD DESIGN is more expensive than good design. Consumers ARE willing to pay more for branded goods than unbranded ones. In today’s climate it’s important to make sure your brand is working hard and your money is well spent.

Great Post! So little said, yet you hit it right on the mark. So many business owners just dont understand that the efforts put into branding and brand recognition help ensure future success. It's not enough to be the big seller on one marketplace anymore. People will research a purchase several times over a period of days or weeks and the more often they see your brand and message on different search engines, comparison shopping engines, blogs etc..... is worth more than can be described. Google adwords and others only record the actual one time click that leads them to your site. What it doesn't tell you is that this same consumer also saw your brand on yahoo search when they first looked into the product weeks earlier, read the recommedations and/or reviews on an independant blog or through social media. The final advertiser claims all of the credit for the conversion when in reality it may be spread across several venues. Widespread coverage, link strength, recognizable imaging that conveys the right message, reputation management... It is a whole different ball game now. 2010 will be a game changer for E-commerce and offline business. Thanks for the clarity.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is great blog. A fantastic read. I will certainly be back.

you're right, it's all about impressions of brands. I think we can't ignore the style but it is something important for the companies.

The final advertiser claims all of the credit for the conversion when in reality it may be spread across several venues. Try Meratol because of it.
